the long-awaited birthday
commission for liz, who said,
"surprise me!...just make it colorful."
nearly 1 year in the making
(due entirely to the artist's fine-tuned procrastination skills), this piece alludes to the playful energy not only of the disc [frisbee] in flight, but also to the energy of liz's colorful silliness.
the title subtly recalls an unforgettable ameteur ND sculpture tour/commentary.
